👗 Wardrobe Catalogue
Tara’s clothes are sewn, not bought off the rack. You buy a design from Violet, gather the cloth, leather, and thread it lists, and stitch it at a Sewing Machine in the tool shed. This page lists what every outfit takes, the total materials for sewing the whole rack, and the recipes for jewelry and hair.
How sewing works

- Violet’s Violets becomes Violet’s Boutique once she starts selling patterns, after a short introductory quest. Her flower seeds stay on sale in the same shop.
- Selling outfits back to Violet stocks new designs. Each outfit you sell raises her pattern level, so sewing cheap outfits and selling them is how you open up the rest of the rack.
- Magic designs unlock after a letter from Violet, which arrives once you have collected produce from a magical animal for the first time.
- The Signature Wylde Jacket and Dress needs no design. It is available as soon as the boutique opens and takes 1 red cloth, 1 black leather, and 1 plain leather (fish or mushroom leather also works for that last one).
- Cloth comes from the loom, using cotton, wool, or alpaca wool. Silk is woven from silk thread, which the silkworm box makes from mulberry leaves.
- Leather comes from the tanning station: tanning solution plus an animal hide, a fish, or a mushroom.
- Colors are dyes ground at the mortar & pestle, then applied to cloth, silk, leather, or thread in the dyeing bath.
- Coatings (glimmer and sparkle) are brewed in the cauldron. Shiny and rainbow cloth are woven from magical animals’ wool.
- The changing room at the back of the boutique puts Tara in a random outfit.

Hair styles and hair color
⚠️ Spoilers — Year 2. Hair styling arrives with Eury, who opens a salon, Coiffed & Crowned by Eury, in Year 2.
Each style costs coins plus one or more hair colors, which you craft yourself. Selling hair colors to Eury unlocks new styles.

- Twin Braids need 5 flowers: forget-me-nots for blonde, witch weed for auburn, moon flowers for copper, thistle for olive, poppies for raven.
- There is no auburn Classic Cut. The red version of that cut is Wellspring Classic Cut, in the table below.
