❀ The Fairhaven Field Guide ❀

🗺️ Map of Fairhaven

Every field guide needs a map pressed between its pages. Fairhaven is a small, multicultural seaside island — walkable end to end in a game day — and the more of it you restore, the more of it opens to you. Below is a walking tour, sketched region by region, the way a botanist annotates a transect: start at the farm gate and wander outward.

🌾 The Wylde Farm

Your grandmother Hazel’s farm sits at the heart of your story, on the west side of the island near the Blacksmith. Here you’ll find:

Hazel Wylde tended this land for decades before you arrived. The island remembers her fondly — and so will you.

🏘️ Town Center

A short walk east brings you to the town square, home to nearly every business on the island. Verified storefronts include the Dahl General Store, Kim’s Local Butcher and Deli, Cafe Moretti, the Blacksmith, Dr. Syed’s General Practice, Kai’s Treasures, Soft and Son’s Fish & Tackle, Seton’s Bakery, The Jewelry Box, Violet’s Violets, Nailed It!, The Bar, the school, the Official Fairhaven Town Hall, and the headquarters of the League of the Conscious Mind — Cameron Conner’s skeptics’ club, which takes a dim view of anything unexplained. Full shopping notes live in Shops & Services.

The Town Hall is where civic life happens; keep an eye on the bulletin board culture of the town generally, since to-do quests for your neighbors are a steady trickle of coins and goodwill.

the townsfolk keep predictable routines — learn them and you’ll never miss a shopkeeper ❀

⚓ The Docks & Beach

South of town, the island meets the sea. The beach is prime territory for fishing and beachcombing for forageables and shells, and the docks are where boats (and the occasional new arrival) come in. Kai Hoapili, the island’s friendly merchant, keeps his wares near here — see Shops & Services.

🌲 The Woods

The forest blankets the island’s interior — a forager’s paradise of mushrooms, berries, and wild herbs that shift with the season. Early on, a broken mountain bridge blocks the path onward; repairing it is a story milestone that opens the mountain region (and brings a certain meteorologist, Giva, to the island).

⛰️ The Mountain

Beyond the repaired bridge, the mountain offers its own foraging, scenery, and story moments. Higher, wilder, and well worth the climb once the way is open.

🌙 Magical Places

The Coven Circle

Hidden away from mundane eyes, the coven circle is where Fairhaven’s witches gather. This is where seasonal rituals are cast — the only way the season ever changes in Wylde Flowers (Energy, Time & Seasons). Later in your journey you take on the role of Keeper of the Wheel, making offerings so the ritual can be performed. See Spells & Rituals.

The Gloaming

A twilight otherworld reachable only by magic. The coven ventures here for rare ritual ingredients — Dragon’s Blood among them — and it is unlike anywhere else on the island. Tread respectfully.

Ravenwood Hollow

⚠️ Spoilers — Ravenwood Hollow was added in a major free update and is hidden until the story reveals it. Skip ahead if you’d rather be surprised!

Ravenwood Hollow is a secret community of magical folk — fae and stranger neighbors still — tucked away from Fairhaven proper. Among its residents is Westley Vuk, a dapper, folklore-loving werewolf who keeps the Hollow’s bookshop and has long sought a cure for his condition (he’s also a romance option). Once discovered, the Hollow becomes part of your regular rounds, with its own faces, favors, and wonders.

🧭 Getting Around

sign-off tip: fly the whole island at dusk once — you’ll spot forage spots you never knew were there ❀
